Video Game Review 1 Grand Theft Auto V

Grand Theft Auto V

Rating: M

I have been playing GTA V for almost 2 years, and I’m still having a great time playing it. GTA is the game that keeps on giving, there are updates every few weeks to keep the game fresh and there are new community designed events every day. The story-mode for this game is perfect; you play as 3 different characters, Michael, Franklin, and Trevor. Michael robbed banks growing up and retired at the age of 40, watching old movies and dealing with a broken marriage and stubborn kids. Franklin grew up in the bad parts of Los Santos (Los Angeles), where boosting cars, selling drugs, and robbing stores is the only way to get out of the ghettos. Trevor is a bank robber with a few psychological issues, and is one of the largest meth producers in Los Santos. All three of them have their own problems, but one thing they share is bank robbing.
Pros: The voice acting for this game is fantastic all three characters have their own personality and charm about them.  The campaign is probably one of the best stories told in gaming history, Rockstar did a fantastic job. The graphics for this game are beautiful especially if you’re playing on the PC where you can download mods to make them even better. The online mode allows you to create a character and do missions with other community members. The online mode also allows you to create your own game type, such as; races, death match, capture the flag, and etc. The best parts about GTA V are the heists, the planning, coordinating, and driving, everything building up to the heists are fun and they are available both in story mode and online mode.
Cons: This game may be flawless; the only problem I was able to find is the loading times can be a bit long when changing from story to online. I really didn't mind since I don't switch back and forth between the two.
Overall: This game is a must have, it offers so much gameplay and it is hardly dull or repetitive. Rockstar have outdone themselves, GTA has set the bar high for games in this genre.
