How to Build the Perfect Team for Brave Frontier

The first thing you need to understand is there is no perfect team, since the game has many different units; it requires a different set of units. Each team can only have 5 units, so making a team requires some planning and changing. The teams should be designed to take down a specific quest. There are 6 core quests and 1 final quest; the 6 core quests are always in the same order. Each of the quests breaks down into 5 mini quests, sometimes there is a 6th mini quest but it is a boss fight.
First quest will always be fire, meaning 95% of the units you face will be fire units. I say 95% because there is a chance the quest will have a mimic or two, a dark unit. The second quest will be water, again 95% chance of all water units. The third quest is earth, 95% chance of all earth units. The fourth quest is thunder, 95% of units will be thunder. These first four quests are known as the elements quests, because each has 95% of the same unit. The next two quests are light and dark. Light quests are 90% light units; mimics are a rare event in light quests. Dark quests are 100% dark units, if a mimic is triggered, it will be a dark unit.  The final quest is a mix of all 6 types; it randomly picks the units you will face.
In order to build a team you must know what units you will be facing, here is a link to the quest guides. http://bravefrontierglobal.wikia.com/wiki/Mistral
Now that you know the quest order, you must learn the strengths and weaknesses of each element.
·         Using a water attack on a fire unit does double damage, fire attack on a water unit does half damage.
·         Using a fire attack on an earth unit does double damage, earth attack on a fire unit does half damage.
·         Using an earth attack on a thunder unit does double damage, thunder attack on an earth unit does half damage.
·         Using a thunder attack on a water unit does double damage, water attack on a thunder unit does half damage.
·         Light attacks are double damage to dark units
·         Dark attacks are double damage to light units
http://bravefrontierglobal.wikia.com/wiki/Gameplay:Elements this is a link to a full graph of what element works best.
Each element has its own strengths and weaknesses, using the wrong team can end the game quickly. That is why there is no perfect team, each element can be beaten. Each element also has its best power, the power of each type is best when matched.
·         Fire- Anima- 10% more HP
·         Water- Oracle- 10% more REC
·         Thunder- Breaker- 10% more ATK
·         Earth- Guardian- 10% more DEF
·         Light- Lord- No Bonus
·         Dark- Lord- No Bonus
The power of each element is best matched with this table. For example, a thunder unit with a breaker power will result in more attack. But a thunder unit with anima power will not get a boost in health.
Now that we have a basic understanding of the game, we can talk about units. All units have a special leadership skill; it can boost all the units of one or more types. For example, the fire unit Ultor has a leader skill that raises attack of all units by 50%. Another example, the water unit Colt has a leader skill that increases health by 15%, recovery by 20% and defense by 25%. A leader’s skill can make a huge difference in a quest; it can help out when dealing with stronger units. Some units also have their own brave attack; a brave attack does 50% more damage to all units regardless of element. For example, light unit Kira has a brave attack that damages all units and heals his own team as well. Units with brave attacks are extremely rare, there are less than 10% of them in the game.
There are different categories of teams:
Mono Team: is a team that only consists of one element. It is commonly used to take down the 4 element quests. Pros: super strong against a single quest. Cons: almost useless when dealing with the other quests.
Rainbow Team: is a team that has all 4 of the main elements and then either a dark element or light element. This is considered the best team since all elements are present. Pros: this allow for more flexibility in terms of team strengths and weakness.  Cons: don’t get many brave attacks.
Brave Team: is a team that has the ability to use a brave attack every turn. A brave attack does 50% more damage. Mainly used for the final quest and raids. Pros: able to do more damage to all elements. Cons: Very hard to collect the right units, since there are less than 10% in the game.
Starter Team: is a team that includes your starting unit, and any other units. Elements do not matter. Pro: easy to create. Cons: not that strong.
Healer Team: is a team that consists of all healers. All though this team is weak it is able to heal its self and keep it alive. The main use for this is during boss quests or during a raid quest. It often has every element as a part of the team. Pros: will last for a long time since able to heal. Cons: Very low damage to units.
Power teams:
Health Team: is a team that has extremely high health. Consists of top 5 units that have the highest HP. Element is does not matter.
Recovery Team: is a team that has extremely high recovery. Consists of top 5 units that have the highest REC. Element is does not matter.
Attack Team: is a team that has extremely high attack. Consists of top 5 units that have the highest ATK. Element is does not matter.
Defensive Team: is a team that has extremely high defense. Consists of top 5 units that have the highest DEF. Element is does not matter.

Here is a list of all the know units in the games. http://bravefrontierglobal.wikia.com/wiki/Unit_List

As you can tell there are many different team categories, each is best during a given quest. The best way to have the best team is by having many different teams prepared for the situations. The overall best team in the game is the list of units below. These units are considered best and having them on a team together you can be unstoppable, the problem is these units are almost impossible to get. There is less than 1% chance of spawning these units, and they have less than 1% chance of capture. This is currently considered the best/ impossible team, in all my years of playing I have yet to come across any of these units. Best of luck creating teams and good luck finding the units below.
Fire- Anima- Claire
Water-Oracle- Colt
Earth-Guardian- Quaid- Leader
Thunder-Breaker- Kanon
Light-Lord- Kira
Dark-Lord- Feeva
